Large scale interventions in my view are all about bringing a holistic view which covers each and everyone in the organisation. It’s the simultaneous process of bringing in the past, present and future together with the help of each and every person with his complete experience and involvement in the process.
Its a process which cuts across each and every level/tier of the structure of any organisation. The beauty of the LSI process lies in the fact the participants on a table could be of any level who during the process becomes like a self-managed team and co-create and paint their thoughts on the canvas. These small groups then merge slowly through the process of the intervention and become one. They move divergence to convergence.
This convergence actually brings about the shared values through this collaborative process, and for any organisation when there are commonly shared values and a holistic view of the big picture, it’s in sync with the objective to be achieved. The participants feel completely involved in their thoughts, words and feelings through the process.
Most importantly, since the participants are actually creating this process by themselves along with others of-course, its by default that they are ready to bring in changes required based on their needs as well as the organisation.
